Eastman guitars are outfitted with a J.W. Eastman series hardshell case. These cases are crafted of state-of-the-art fiberglass and come in seven brilliant colors. Each case weighs a little over 8 pounds and has draw bolt latches for a weather tight seal. The interior features include total suspension of the instrument, padding made of molded foam, plush lining, and a detachable accessory pouch. this case is super light and shock absorbent!
A new case from Canada, by lasido**, made from the same materials as car bumpers, for maximum shock distribution and absorption! really tough and shock absorbent! weighs about the same as a gig bag!! they don't look like much as far as high end cases go, but lasido is now shipping all their high end guitars in these, and that says a lot!  You can push the material in with your thumbnail, but it will spring back, and doesn't tear.
the case is really balanced with the guitar in it, so that it carries with the guitar in the position of the left picture, with the handle horizontal. so instead of sticking out a couple of feet in front and behind you, it only takes up as much space as you do, when walking!
