Thomastik Spirocore  $133 ($273 list) (red windings at end) Orchestra gauge, the standard set for bluegrass, jazz, country, folk, etc., Light gauge available too, woven metal core, flexible, can be bowed if needed. singles in stock too!
La Bella Supernil $75($120 list), A & E silver plated copper on nylon, G & D plain nylon on nylon, a nice mellow set with easy action, because of the lower tension, due to the nylon. Not as much projection as with Spirocore because of the lower tension and mellower sound, brightness projects best!
