An excellent mandolin with a very similar sound to a Gibson
A style, plays the same too (has that nice slightly wider neck width also, a
feature which most modern Gibson and other brands lack!) A very warm
sound with good high end. I remember Bill Monroe saying "Stradolin
made a pretty good mandolin". He was right!
STRADOLIN Jr. MANDOLIN, ALL SOLID $350 a very nice sounding model, as good as any of the stradolin (senior?) models that I've heard or played!! the edge of the back doesn't line up exactly (it protrudes slightly past the side) with the lower side, not a big deal and only visible when you look at the lower edge, which isn't normally seen. someone probably reglued it a long time ago and didn't line it up exactly. otherwise it looks very good, no cracks and very good playability, nice straight neck and good frets.!SOLD
Strad-ol-in, with fake flame
maple back $550
A very nice sounding one, plays just just as good, was mine for a while,
now I play my Vietnamese mando. This Stradolin is just as good as your above
average Gibson A model, which means better than many Gibsons! The condition is
above average too! SOLD
STELLA OVAL HOLE FLATBACK AND
TOP $200, ALL SOLID SOLD
ALSO HAS THE WIDER (OLD GIBSON) WIDTH NECK LIKE THE KAYS ABOVE.
NICE TONE!
VOYAGER MANDOLIN circa 20's $299 ,by
Vega, of Boston, MA SOLD
A nice sounding, all solid instrument, top spruce, B&S
birch, with lovely hand painting.
Wonderful Noname 2-point Mandolin $495, circa 1920's Longer scale than most, which gives it more tension and volume, while still retaining that warm and woody tone! An unusual and especially nice piece, in excellent condition for it's age! I believe the back and sides are birch, the top is spruce.» PICS CLICK HERE! SOLD

back & sides. There is a 6" crack on back which has been repaired and
is very stable, a solid instrument, plays good, with lovely tone, on the
brighter side! Tuners are the best I've ever used!
