BANJO KITS

GOLDTONE KITS:  MC (ALLOY TONERING) $279   Makes a really nice sounding, bright but not overly bright openback banjo (resonator available)! All parts are heavy duty, these are not cheap banjos, even though the price is cheap for an instrument with this sound quality. They will make a fine bluegrass banjo (MC) with the resonator addition, or oldtimey. The only tools needed are a drill (hole spots are marked), and other common hand tools. The frets are precut to length but need to be pounded in (with a mallet). The neck and rim are fine sanded, pretty much ready for a finish (oil or shellac or Qualasol, are both easy hand rubbed methods). Quality diecast tuners (plus a geared 5th) included, as well as co-ordinator rods for easy action adjustment! Complete instructions. Planetary pegs add $25, convertible to openback! I think it's a great instrument (but dangerous in the wrong hands!). Go to »»http://www.goldtone.com/, to hear it and see other Goldtones! (that's their website)

GOLDTONE left handed banjo kit $379, like above kit but with finished neck!
